Driver Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up to drive with CityHop, you agree to follow these terms and represent that all information provided is accurate and up to date.

2. Driver Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license
• Own or have access to a reliable vehicle
• Valid vehicle insurance and registration
• Smartphone with internet access and GPS

3. Driver Conduct

• Be respectful and professional with all customers
• No illegal substances or behavior while on duty
• Report any accidents or delivery issues immediately

4. Delivery Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver items promptly and safely
• Confirm the customer’s name and address before delivery
• Handle all packages with care

5. Proof of Delivery

For each delivery, you may be required to submit:

• A clear photo of the delivered item
• Timestamp of delivery
• Optional: Customer signature

Proof can be uploaded via the CityHop driver portal or sent to dispatch.

6. Payment Terms

• Standard delivery pay: [insert your rates]
• Payments are processed weekly via Interac e-Transfer
• Drivers are responsible for their own taxes and vehicle costs

7. Suspension & Termination

CityHop reserves the right to suspend or terminate any driver for violating these terms, unsafe behavior, fraud, or repeated complaints.

8. Liability

Drivers operate as independent contractors. CityHop is not responsible for accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damages that occur while working.

9. Updates to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Drivers will be notified of major changes in writing or via email.
